Review of Linda House Cusco: A Culinary Retreat with a ViewMy recent sojourn at Linda House Cusco was an exercise in tranquility and comfort. Nestled a scenic walk uphill from the vibrant heart of Cusco, the property offers modern, fully equipped units, complete with stunning views that elevate both the morning coffee and evening wine. The shared lounge and terrace provide delightful spaces for quiet reflection or convivial gatherings, making it a haven for couples and those seeking a peaceful retreat in the city. The breakfast, an American affair featuring local fruits, eggs, and yogurt, was a splendid start to our days, enjoyed amidst the picturesque panoramas of the cityscape. While the location is slightly removed from the center, local buses or a straightforward taxi ride make reaching the thriving city life easy and affordable, allowing visitors to blend adventure with serenity seamlessly. What truly set this experience apart was the warm hospitality of Ed and Linda, who ensured we had all the information needed for local tours and excursions. Their commitment to ensuring guests feel welcome and informed made all the difference, reminiscent of the best practices I have appreciated in luxury hospitality over my career. I am certainly looking forward to a future visit to this lovely retreat, which has painted my memories of Cusco in unmistakable hues of warmth and affability.
